Jailhouse scene with Dog - "Here, Give Us The Keys, Ya Scrawny Little Beast!" Sculpted by my good friend and amazing colleague Tim Bruckner, I urge you to check out his site! As the flames spread throughout the city, pirates locked in the town jail are desperate to escape before their underground dungeon turns into an inferno. The local constabulary are nowhere to be seen. Only a mangy mutt is around to witness their plight and he holds the keys to their cells in his mouth. The pirates try to lure the dog within their reach so they can grab the keys and attempt an escape. The boat passes underneath another bridge, which appears to be a reinforced sewer entrance to the underground parts of the city.

This numbered limited edition sculpture of 750 is the last in the Pirates of the Caribbean series and will be offered for $599, plus tax. The sculpture was crafted in fine porcelain and plussed with brass, pewter and rope. Sculpture stands:12" high. Designer, Ruben Procopio will be on hand for a special appearance and signing from 10 AM to 12 Noon in the Disneyana Shop on Main Street, U.S.A.

As the director and operator of Gyroscope, Tim's patented unique system and cameras can turn any environment and object into a virtual movement in space. Awesome to look at, just check out what he does in the Entertainment, Hospitality, Automotive and Licensing Industries, its a sight to behold. I found his service not only a great visual selling tool for my sculpts (Ratigan, Underdog and Popeye) but also an incredible tool to see a character in all the different angles imaginable. THE SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME

Look who has a new blog... Doug Klauba! My good buddy Doug has just started a wonderful Blog featuring many of his masterpiece sketches from his recent Sketchbook. Elliot... "Pete's Dragon"

Here is a sculpture I did which was recently released by Enesco's Walt Disney Classic Collection. Its Elliot the lovable green dragon from the 1977 Disney Movie Pete's Dragon. This sculpts was a lot of fun, it actually reminded me of my years at the studio sculpting maquettes. Its the type of pose I would have done if I had worked on this movie. I couldn't help but mimic Charlie Callas' voice while working on the piece, hope you have the same enjoyable experience... Also shown are pics of the final original sculpt. FCA December '07 Cover... SHAZAM!

Here's the latest FCA cover #133 (and thumbnail) I did for the FCA (Fawcett Collectors of America) section in last month's AlterEgo Magazine No.74. My good buddy Paul C. Hamerlinck edits the beautifully put together FCA, which brings you fascinating tidbits of the Captain Marvel lore and history every month. Each issue is chock full of newly discovered nuggets and past information for Shazam/Fawcett collector and aficionados. Kudos to Paul for his continuing efforts - and success - in keeping Shazam's creator C.C. Beck's dream and vision alive! I highly recommend and urge all comic book enthusiasts to pick up AlterEgo, a great magazine devoted to the nostalgic golden and silver age of comic book days of yesteryear, giving a nod to the past and to all the creators that made it happen. AlterEgo is masterfully compiled and edited by Roy Thomas and published by TwoMorrows.
